For those of us who inundate the tree with wrapped packages (“those of us” = me), I find that by limiting your selection of wrapping paper to 2 color stories, you will achieve the nicest look. With the tree & ornaments, the tree skirt, the room decorations, your collection of blow-mold Santa’s, etc etc., your room will look so much more cohesive if your paper wrapping paper isn’t all over the place. Packages in green and red and blue and white and metallic gold and Batman and purple plaid, etc etc is just too much!

I generally wrap in either red & white patterned papers, OR green and white papers.
